Why Be Positive?

Happy with life?

Well, all thought is creative and as such a thought repeated often enough tends to come into being through our thoughts, words and deeds. therefore a negative mind-set will inevitably produce negative results whereas a positive thinking mind-set will produce a life filled with the things you desire.

Take a look round you: your health, your finances, your lifestyle, the good and the bad things. All of this you have created. What you are living now is a reflection on your thoughts of the past. Now if what you are looking at doesn’t exactly fit what you would really want then maybe it is time to look deeper and consider your thoughts.

Thoughts become things. Don’t believe me… stand back for a moment, do you notice any bad situations in your life currently? If the answer is yes, think back a few months. What were your thoughts about this situation at that time? Were they negative thoughts of worry, fear and doubt? If so, then your thoughts directly contributed to your negative situation. Realizing and diffusing this spiral is the first step in using positive thinking in your life. Thoughts become things.

Thoughts become things is one of the greatest statements you can understand and come to grips with. Why? Because you can consciously choose your thoughts, so it must follow that you can consciously control what appears in your life. If you follow this you are now on the right track.

Here are a few tips to get you started with positive thinking today:

Choose your thoughts carefully

1) Realize that you create your life from the inside out. Remember this saying: “If I do not go within, I go without.”

2) Observe your thoughts, see them come into your mind’s eye. If they are negative or destructive thoughts consciously drop them. Yes, you can consciously choose a better thought. Negative thinking is a habit that may well have become habitual to you through the influences of society but you can change this habit and relatively quickly if you have the desire to.

3) Start to visualize. See yourself in your mind’s eye in the situation or in possession of whatever it is you wish to attain. This helps you focus and stay on course to achieve your goals and seemingly helps things to fall into place for you a bit more easily. Don’t believe this works? Go and pick up a few autobiographies of famous sports people from both current day and yesteryear and I guarantee that if they talk about how they win they undoubtedly mention visualisation/imagination or something else along the same lines. The body cannot tell the difference between an event formed in your mind and one lived out so by making the brain feel that you have achieved your goals. You are thinking the exact thoughts that will bring that eventuality about.

4) Be thankful and don’t worry. Look around you. There are so many wonderful things, not least of which is you! You are an amazing individual regardless of your current situation. Do not worry and know that everything you are going through is preparing you for your goals to materialize. So keep in mind your targets always and don’t let them go and you will get there.

5) Alway focus on what you want, not what you don’t want! Being positive 100% of the time brings about results a great deal quicker. Why not choose to be positive!

If any of this sounds like manipulation of your mind or whatever then consider this: society, governments and institutions have been constantly manipulating and guiding your thoughts since you were born. Wouldn’t it be better if you deliberately took control of your thoughts and channeled them to whatever good you wish to achieve? No matter how daring, crazy or bizarre your goals are, know this… you can achieve them!
